Rider throwing a wall of roost across the wash at last light

The Desert

A lookbook for Justin Mensinger, shot on a dirt bike until the light went.

Justin builds clothing by hand out of old material and sells it under his own name. The garments needed to be photographed being used rather than laid flat, so we took them into the desert and put them on a bike.

Everything is lit against the last of the sun, with the roost doing most of the work. One location, 11 September, shot until it was too dark to focus.
